Janet (left) is the ultimate go getter.  She grew up in Oklahoma and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. She currently works at the English Language Center at Brigham Young University (BYU). Prior to working at BYU, she and her husband owned and operated a private homecare business. She has also enjoyed working with students at the middle school and high school levels and homeschooled her children for most of their elementary years. Janet married her husband in 1996 and they are the parents of seven children and two grandchildren. In her personal life Janet enjoys spending time with family, playing games, reading, organizing, sewing, baking and learning new things.

Kirsten (right) is an experience designer, sunshine enthusiast, and proud mother of one. She graduated from the BYU Experience Design program in 2021 and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences. Previous to starting Elegant Wedding Rentals she worked as an Experience Designer for the BYU MBA Program. She has always been passionate about weddings and, as a teenager, dreamed of creating the perfect wedding reception. In 2024 her dream came true when she met her amazing husband Austin and had the opportunity to design her wedding reception with the support of her mother Janet. She is excited to assist others in creating their own fairytale wedding with Elegant Wedding Rentals.
